Code Image Update and Reconfiguration 

 

MC8000UE-S4 Code Image Update 

 

1. Download the new code and save it to your local drive. 

 

 

2. Open Code Image Update page and then 

click Image Download button to start the 

update procedure. 

 

 

3. Click Browse to select the image file, 

firmware.dlf, and the message ¡§Please 

wait while system is preparing for 

download!¡¨ will be shown. Then click 

the Upload button to start update. 

 

Warning: If you decide not to update your firmware after click Image Download, 

please do remember to click Cancel Download button to terminate the update 

procedure. Otherwise, the device will always stay at update mode (ADSL LED off) 

and could not work properly even you reset or reboot it.

 

 

4. You will see the message ¡§File successfully transferred!¡¨ displayed after finish uploading. 

This procedure may take several seconds. Please refresh the web page when you see the 

ADSL LED illuminate again.

Recheck TCP/IP Settings

1. Double click Network
