Port Forwarding:

In order to connect to a computer via Windows XP Remote Desktop that is behind a router, you must open the port 3389 (TCP).

 

First Steps: Open your web browser and enter the IP address of your router (10.0.0.2). Enter username and your password.

 

Second Step: Go to Virtual Server under Configuration.

 

 

 

Third Step: Create new rule

1. Input required Public Port ‘3389’ and Private Port which is normally as same as public port. 
2. For Port Type. Select TCP
3. Enter the IP address of the computer you want to Access.
4. Click ‘Add This Setting’.

 

 

 

Fourth Step: Click Save Setting, then modem will be rebooted.
